I’ve been using Momento, a journal app for iOS, since it launched in 2010. It collects my daily entries, photos, and posts from the social sites, and chronicles my life story. I check in every day to ‘This Day’ tab just to see what I wrote on that day over the years. Today, I was reminded that we found out my mum had cancer two years ago. In a family meeting, she talked us through the results of a recent biopsy and what cancer she had; it was stage-3 ovarian. She would die from the disease twenty months later.
