I remember being given a CD when I was about 16 by my parents, who said they’d got it for free from a radio show broadcasting on Patrick’s Street. I didn’t know the band, but boy did I grow to love that album and played it on my Discman regularly. My favourite tracks are still ‘Revelate’, then ‘Say It to Me Now’ and ‘Monument’. I can’t remember if I saw The Frames or Glen play live, but he was such an amazing singer and songwriter. I’m sorry that he passed away so tragically and so soon. RIP Glen Hansard.
